Furnix are enemies that appeared The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and are Medium-sized Red birds who usually fly around the Ancient Cistern and Lanayru Sand Sea. Their weakspot is it's tail and when the tail is grabbed by the Whip, then the Furnix can be pulled to the ground and stabbed which defeates it. Furnixes attack by spitting three small fireballs. In order to grab it's tail, it's attention must be caught then it's taill can open.

Furnixes are Medium sized Red birds who have long red/yellow wings. Furnixes have colorful feathers as the colors that are seen on their feathers are Red, Yellow, and Pink. They also have a tail which has a hole on it, which can be grabbed by the Whip.
